A web site backup is not only useful in case of hardware failure, but also for hacked sites. Most backup applications will take snapshots at a certain time and don’t allow you to restore the site as it was at a certain date with an incremental backup.
Also, most backup solutions are not that good with large networks of sites, configuring, backup-ing and restoring becoming tedious and stressing tasks. By allowing you to define a FTP connection that can be used for many sites and combine that with as many MySQL connections as you want SiteVault will make the setup process as simple as possible.
SiteVault will just as easily maintain networks of hundreds of sites or a single web site backup.
