The improvements we plan for SiteVault has been established.
The development list has been settled. I'm sure everybody is curious to know what we have planned, or not! ;)
Here it is, anyway:
Scheduling
You will be able to schedule your backups and receive e-mails when they are completed.

Network Backup
Many of our clients need to run a backup tool for the network files as well, so we'll just integrate that in SiteVault.

Backup to FTP
Services out there sell you the right to backup your local files to an FTP location, SiteVault can already restore the backups, so we're planning on expanding that to the local files / network as well.

Backup to MySQL
We've been asked for the ability to backup a MySQL db to another MySQL db, and we thought it to be neat, so we're working on that as well.

DVD burning capabilities
We don't plan to allow you to write DVD's with this app, as there are many out there that already do this well, but we will generate setup files for those applications.

MsSQL Backup
At the moment there is a need for an MsSQL backup tool that will generate the script. Many of us don't need or want to use the combersome MsSQL back-up tool, so we're launching one for the masses ;).

These are the major upgrades, we will continue to improve the small details of SiteVault everyday!
